"The colors of this plant are fantastic! The bright green background helps this piece "pop" with excitement. I painted on Yupo surface one other time and thought I would try it again for this subject. The Yupo paper is slick and non-absorbent, so the paints move around and some areas actually repelled the paint. Adding the watercolor pencil contour lines refined the details and the spontaneous feel still is apparent in the finished work-Gail
