Black white and rose encaustic artwork painting is 8x10 inches on wooden cradle board.  Encaustic art is created with color wax mixture and painted on with paint brushes then it is burnished and fused onto the surface permanantly using a blowtorch!  Before the wax sets, the artist can press things like butlap, and carve out linear enhancements. The process is very fun and the results are dramatic!
