original oil  painting by Gail M Austin, painted on location in Paso Robles California.  11x14 inch canvas covered board. The canvas was first toned in a nice cerealean blue.  Small impressionistic spots of green, yellow, gold, then dark brown were added creating a vibrant and dramatic scene of one single tree on a hill.
