A good friend sent me a photo of a desert scene at sunset. When her husband sent me the very same photo and suggested that I paint it, I thought it could be a fun and a colorful thing to paint, and so I "jumped right in". I do love the big Saguaro cacti that takes years and years to grow and are a protected species. They remind me of desert spirits standing watch as the sun sets in the distance.
